CABBAGE SOUP DIET
The Cabbage Soup diet is my absolute favorite. This is the very first diet I've ever done! This is a diet that i can do over and over and over again. I've lost count on how many times I've completed this. Some how I feel a bit attached to it because it was my first, plus the soup is so yummy!
This is a 7 day diet plan that lets you eat as much as you want as long as you stick to what is allowed. Each day has a different list of foods allowed and everyday requires you to eat as much of the soup as possible. You are supposed to lose 10-20 lb. on this diet. As always, please be safe when starting a diet such as this and remember to take your vitamins!

Day 1: Vegetables
Today you can eat as many vegetables as you want excluding corn, beans, avocado, and potato. Also as many bowls of cabbage soup as you want. Day 2: Fruits Today you can eat as many fruits as you want excluding banana. Also as many bowls of cabbage soup as you want. Day 3: Fruits and Vegetables Today is a combination of the first two days. You can eat as many fruits and vegetables as you want excluding corn, beans, avocado, and banana. You may have ONE SMALL baked potato with nonfat cheese. Also as many bowls of cabbage soup as you want. Day 4: Banana's and Milk Today you can eat up to 8 banana's and up to 8 glasses of skim milk. Also as many bowls of cabbage soup as you want. Todays goal is to lessen your cravings for sweets. (Skim milk may be substituted by unsweetened or low cal almond, coconut, rice, or soy milk). |
Day 5: Meat and Tomatoes
Today you can eat up to 10-20 ounces of beef, chicken, or fish and 6 fresh tomatoes. Also as many bowls of cabbage soup as you want. You must also drink up to 10 large glasses of water in order to flush all of the uric acid from your system. Day 6: Meat and Vegetables Today you can eat up to 10-20 ounces of beef or chicken and as many vegetables as you want excluding corn, beans, avocado, and potato. Also as many bowls of cabbage soup as you want. Day 7: Brown Rice and Vegetables Today you can eat brown rice and vegetables excluding corn, beans, avocado, and potato. You may also drink as much unsweetened fruit juices as you want. Also as many bowls of cabbage soup as you want. You may drink as much water, unsweetened tea and 100% cranberry juice as you want throughout the week. You must eat at least one bowl of soup a day. The more soup you eat the more weight you will lose. |
